HAVEN Teams up With Timberland for New Military-Inspired 6-Inch Boots
Pairing GORE-TEX and Cordura fabrics with Vibram lug-soles.
Canadian-boutique HAVEN has teamed up with Timberland to produce a military-inspired take on the classic 6-Inch Boot.
Inspired by Canada’s four seasons and the varying conditions that are brought along with them, the 6-inch boots pair functional, militaristic design with premium fabrics. The boots don a gusseted tongue and a GORE-TEX® lining that gives the shoe its waterproof properties.
The black iteration’s upper is doused in a smooth leather, while the sand version features a nappy suede, with both pairs featuring a Cordura® ballistic nylon quarter. The pairs also tote Vibram lug-sole units for added comfort and traction, along with a removable, military-style speed lacing system for easy in-and-out access. Rounding out the design of the boots are padded Cordura® nylon collars, co-branded hang tabs, and woven brand labels located on the tongues.
The boots will release in-stores at both Toronto and Vancouver locations on January 26th, 11:00 a.m. local time for $280 CAD (approximately $210 USD), with the remaining pairs becoming available online at 4:00 p.m. EST.
