Eric Emanuel‘s latest collaborative sneaker with adidas Originals takes the form of a Rivalry Hi in a special “New York” colorway. Looking to pay homage to NYC basketball in a big way, the sportswear designer took it back to the year 1986, highlighting the colors of the New York Knicks.
Staying true to the original sneaker for the ’80s, the shoe maintains its premium leather uppers, bold blue and orange stripes, blue and while midsole, and the iconic adidas “Team Series” branding at the tongue. In this Closer Look, this particular Eric Emanuel x adidas Originals Rivalry Hi was an exclusive release version just limited 1986 pairs.
Those interested can find them launching on February 8 at adidas Orginals for a retail price of $110 USD.
