Children of the Discordance Transmits Punk Culture With Americana in SS19 Lookbook
Inspired by The Chemical Brothers and Joy Division.
After previewing its upcoming ripple-soled Converse collaboration with RECOUTURE, Japanese imprint Children of the Discordance is back with a new lookbook featuring its Spring/Summer 2019 offerings.
Projecting all the usual Americana and youth culture influence one could hope for, the new collection features inspiration from The Chemical Brothers and Joy Division. The new offerings include patchwork-infused haori-type robes, shirts, trousers and jackets, an MA-1 that incorporates various olive hues, oversized trench coats with graffiti text backings, and a variety of graphical tees donning The Chemical Brothers logo and Joy Division’s renown Unknown Pleasures cover art.
Also, in the collection are loose-fitting pinstripe trousers in a front/back 50/50 color split, various patchwork jeans, newspaper-print shorts, and a navy trench featuring a unique fastening system at the front as well as various embroidery and patchwork details. The lookbook also features the aforementioned boot-like Converse sneakers.
Be sure to check out the new offerings above, and be on the look out as the collection is expected to hit stockists in the near future.
