Future's 'The WIZRD' Is His Sixth Album to Debut No. 1 on Billboard 200
Selling 126,000 album units during its first week.
Future has retaken the No. 1 album spot on the Billboard 200 chart with his latest 20-track album Future Hndrxx Presents: The WIZRD, making it his sixth project in three-and-a-half-years to earn the coveted position. The album, which sold 126,000 equivalent album units at the end of its debut week, was released via Freebandz/Epic Records.
His other albums to earn the sacred spot were Dirty Sprite 2, What a Time to Be Alive, Evol, Future, Hndrxx, and now his latest album offering. That means six out of eight of his records have managed to debut at No. 1, an incredible feat for any hip-hop artist.
The last artist to earn six No. 1’s in this short amount of time was Elton John, who earned his spots in the early 1970s.
Stay tuned to see if Future’s Future Hndrxx Presents: The WIZRD can stay at the top of the chart.
