Young Thug Has Just Become the First Artist Ever to Break This Billboard Record
This has never been done before.

Young Thug has just made hip-hop history as he officially becomes the first rapper ever to have three top five rap albums on the Billboard charts in one year. The record was made official after the release of his latest project, Jeffery, which debuted at no. 3 at the rap charts, racking up in 18,000 total sales in its first week. His other two albums Slime Season 3, and I’m Up debuted at No. 1 and No. 4, respectively. What a prolific year he’s having — the only other artist that was close was Kevin Gates who had two top 5 debuts on the Rap Albums chart this year with his debut album Islah and his summer project Murder for Hire 2. Big shout-out to Thugger for the achievement!
