Flying Lotus Launches New Film Company, "Brainfeeder Films"
He’ll be partnering up with filmmaker Eddie Alcazar.

Flying Lotus made his directorial debut earlier this year at the Sundance NEXT Fest in Downtown Los Angeles with Royal, a short film serving as interlude to a larger scale feature film he’s currently working on titled Kuso. Now, the renowned producer has announced his new endeavor – a film company, Brainfeeder Films, which Kuso will be released through. He’s teaming up with filmmaker Eddie Alcazar and together they’ll work as a film finance and production outfit focusing on creating “traditional and nontraditional entertainment” as well as commercial content for global audiences. The company will also become a hub for its producing partners and a home for other filmmakers seeking freedom of expression and development.
“Eddie and I started Brainfeeder Films with the intention to produce and support influential and experimental entertainment for film and music fans around the world,” Flying Lotus said in a report from Variety. “I’ve always wanted Brainfeeder to be a home for emerging artists, creative talent, and filmmakers who are looking to work outside the traditional studio and independent distribution systems.”
