Skepta's Album Sales Have Gone up 226% Since Mercury Prize Win
Business is booming.
After earning himself the coveted 2016 Mercury Prize last week, the grime king has began reaping some of the benefits of the illustrious award. According to UK’s Official Charts Company, the data shows sales of Skepta‘s Konnichiwa album have skyrocketed by a whopping 226% in just last seven days. This jump in sales will now place the album back on the official UK Charts when it’s announced today, and he might be in the top five.
