Stephen Curry recently toured Asia, linking up with both Singapore-based sneaker outpost Limited Edt and artist SBTG, in which the Golden State Warriors superstar received a special gift of note. Mr. Sabotage was handed a pair of Under Armour Curry 5’s and was tasked to reinvent the signature silhouette in such a way that spoke to the very nature of Curry’s DNA.
Reimagined as a soldier kitted up to do battle, the RRC Fury SC5 spotlights an aggressive camo print which dominates much of the upper, while the midsole calls attention to a fierce feline print — reminiscent of Curry’s animalistic approach to the game. Other notable accents include a reinforced Fidlock buckle strap put in place for functional support, while the names of the NBA star’s three children — Riley, Ryan and Canon — get stamped directly onto the laces.
In other sneaker news, Nike covered the Air Max 270 Bowfin in a slick “Triple Black” color scheme.
