Post Malone Talks Kanye West Cosign, Forthcoming Debut Album and More
Acknowledging past mistakes, Post continues to progress forward as an artist.
Completing a summer packed with live performances, Post Malone (real name Austin Post) doesn’t seem like he’s about to slow down anytime soon. He plans on releasing his forthcoming debut album before the end of the year, but has already garnered a large fanbase with tracks like “White Iverson” and “That’s It.” Among them are a few Hollywood notables such as Kylie Jenner, who introduced the young Dallas-bred artist to her brother-in-law, Kanye West. Among his brief discography is a song titled “Too Young,” interestingly written as a homage to the late A$AP Mob founder, Yams. Although the two had never met, Austin felt the contributions from Yams from afar, which affected him enough to put together the cathartic tribute. All these subjects and more are discussed in the video interview done with VIBE, which can be viewed above.
