Young Thug Drops Video to "Best Friend," Gets Threatened With Legal Action
Louisiana rapper Tokyo Vanity feels Thugga stole the concept of her song “That’s My Best Friend.”

Some good and bad news today for rapper Young Thug as the ATL artist drops the video to his brand new single “Best Friend,” while simultaneously being accused of plagiarizing the song’s concept from Louisiana rapper Tokyo Vanity. The video features Thugga cruising around Atlanta, jamming with his homies in the woods and feasting at a lavish dinner table. However, in some detailed Instagram posts, Tokyo Vanity throws shade at Thug and his entire team claiming they invited her to the video shoot and full knowingly stole her idea. Though the songs are immensely different from one another (apart from sharing a similar name), Tokyo is claiming to be taking legal action against the work.
