Nicholas Daley & George Cox Collaborate on Monk Strap Creeper
Taking influences from Daley’s “Red Clay” collection.
After collaborations with HUMAN MADE and ALYX earlier this year, footwear label George Cox has now worked with London-based designer Nicholas Daley. The latest joint release sees the Monk Strap Creeper silhouette reworked with references to Daley’s Fall/Winter 2018 “Red Clay” collection. The creeper was chosen by Daley due to its important musical legacy, another nod to the influences for his other collections.
The main addition to the creeper is a singular buckle strap — the same as used on kilts in the full collection — across the shoe’s upper. The collaboration also references Daley’s collection through the mix of leather and suede detailing and the deep navy colorway. The Nicholas Daley x George Cox Monk Strap Creeper is available now, exclusively from Dover Street Market London and Kink Nagoya.
