Japan’s own Mizuno has returned with a follow up to its Wave Rider 1. This month the sportswear house will bring back the Sky Medal silhouette in an original colorway. The ’90s-inspired sneaker sees a white base with black underlays on the medial and lateral panels. The Runbird logo receives some flair thanks to holographic effects with Mizuno’s stamp found on the heels in blue and on its black tongues in red. Synthetic leather and nylon mesh come together along the upper to complete its retro look.

Mizuno’s Sky Medal will arrive in limited quantities on September 8 for $150 USD. Fans of the model can also check out Patta’s edition from early August.
