Only a couple of days after his Polaris Prize win for his acclaimed full-length 99.9%, Kaytranada has dropped a surprise mixtape called 0.001%. Appearing without warning on his SoundCloud, the nearly 90-minute mix embodies the esteemed Canadian producer’s idiosyncratic fusion of hip hop, R&B, funk, soul, and electronic beats. Even with its sudden release, 0.001% doesn’t come as a total surprise: Kaytranada revealed that he was working on the mixtape back in May. Stream it below.
