Kanye West is no stranger to speaking his mind in extended monologues, and at the Boston stop of his Saint Pablo tour, ‘Ye delivered a passionate speech during “Runaway” about the importance of self-love and embracing who you are. “We have to love ourselves before we can love anybody else,” he declared, chiding the media for “taking stuff out of you and trying to sell it back to you.” He rounds out the speech with a stirring conclusion: “The greatest gift you have is your now…you don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow, and the past is the past.” Watch Kanye’s monologue below.
