A First Look at the 'Dragon Ball Z' x adidas EQT Support ADV Primeknit "Shenron"
Inspired by the anime’s famed dragon.
Late last year, famed sneaker insider Yeezy Mafia announced that adidas and beloved anime Dragon Ball Z would be releasing a range of collaborative sneakers. After getting a few looks at the ZX 500 RM “GOKU” and the Kamanda “Majin Buu” fans have now been given a glance at the capsule’s Shenron-inspired model.
Utilizing the adidas EQT Support ADV Primeknit, the sneaker takes on the same color palate as found on the show’s famed dragon, Shenron. The upper takes on a mostly green look featuring textured stripes inspired by Shenron’s scales, while hits of red and yellow are found on the shoe’s heel, representing Shenron’s underbelly. The Dragon Ball Z x adidas EQT Support ADV Primeknit “Shenron” is just one sneaker of a seven part collaboration with the German giant and will also include models inspired by Cell, Frieza and Majin Buu.
