One of the biggest topics of discussion this week has been about San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick refusing to stand for the National Anthem at the team’s preseason games. In wake of the social injustice, police brutality and racial tension going on in the country, this was his way of protesting.

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color,” the player said in explanation for his protest. “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”

Now if you’re with Colin Kaepernick and unhappy with the National Anthem, you can sign this new petition started by Dery Anthony, (a devoted Dipset fan) who stronglyw believes Cam’ron and Juelz Santana would do a better job representing the United States than the “Star Spangled Banner.” The petition is seeking 10,000,000 names and is already up at 1,500 in less than 24 hours. The description also reads, “The current National Anthem is BS.”
