Following the media frenzy surrounding Riccardo Tisci’s Burberry debut, the house debuted a selection of more casual garments, dubbed B Series, via social media. The B Series collection was initially limited to Instagram for 24 hours, but Londoners were able to get their hands on the goods via a special one-day-only pop-up event. Burberry’s Regent Street flagship transformed into a B Series pop-up for one day, granting hands-on access to printed bags, patterned sneakers and Thomas Burberry monogram-emblazoned sweatsuits. Tagged with the date of the runway show, the goods flew off the shelves, with many sold out in mere hours.
