Optimus Prime Makes an Appearance in Latest 'Transformers' Prequel 'Bumblebee' Trailer
Hitting theaters this christmas.
Following on from the first trailer earlier this year, a second trailer has been released for Transformers prequel Bumblebee. Whereas the first clip focused on Bumblebee’s discovery on a scrap yard, the latest trailer also reveals more about the character’s involvement Cyberton civil war. The movie is directed by Travis Knight, and features appearances from Hailee Steinfeld, Angela Bassett and John Cena.
The new trailer also introduces classic characters from the franchise including Soundwave and Optimus Prime, who gives Bumblebee his mission for the movie, telling the character that “there is only one way to end this war: you must protect Earth and its people.” Take a look at the trailer above, and expect the movie to hit theaters this Christmas.
To celebrate the movie, Hasbro and Alpha Industries released a joint flight jacket earlier this year.
