Pop Trading Company & Minotaur Link Up for Fall/Winter 2018
Mixing super-technical fabrics with the Amsterdam label’s skate aesthetic.
Amsterdam-based label Pop Trading Company has announced its latest collaboration, teaming up with Japanese outdoors brand Minotaur. The collaboration mixes the two label’s expertise, with Minotaur’s focus on super-technical fabrics and construction featuring alongside Pop’s signature skate-influenced aesthetic.
The stand-out item in the six-piece collaboration is the hunting jacket, taken from Minotaur’s archive. The jacket is constructed from a waterproof and durable Kevlar fabric, chosen to protect against both harsh weather and any potential skating wear and tear. Other items include a breathable vest, a waterproof overshirt as well as T-shirts and caps. The collection is based around Minotaur’s signature dark black and brown color palette, which is offset with Pop’s white logo and detailing in bright yellow.
The Pop Trading Company x Minotaur collection will drop on September 29, and will be available from the Pop web store, Minotaur locations, Opening Ceremony USA and select stockists in Japan.
