Björk Drops New Single "The Gate"
The Icelandic songstresses teases her upcoming LP, utopia.
With her new album Utopia set to drop in November, Björk has teased the upcoming project with the release of its first single, “The Gate.” In a recent interview, the Icelandic singer says the new album will contrast the darker themes of her last project, Vulnicura, with songs about love and surrounding yourself with positive influences.
In addition to the new single, Björk said that she’s also working on a music video for the track, which will be directed by Andrew Thomas Hoang. It remains to be seen what she has in mind for the visuals, but for now, stream “The Gate” below and let us know what you think about the track.
