Yung Lean's Music Video for "Eye Contact" Is a Psychedelic Trip
Visuals for the buzzy track off the ‘Warlord’ album.
Yung Lean continues to bless his fans with more visuals off the Warlord album. He recently dropped music videos for “Pearl Fountain,” “Sippin,” “Afghanistan” and “Highway Patrol.” For the track “Eye Contact,” the Swedish-rapper goes for a more visually-stimulating interpretation of the single. Here we see lean in a dark, yet colorful setting complete with flowers, fruits and some shady individuals. Plus in an off-beat fashion statement, Lean is wearing a wreath over his head — maybe he’s channeling the popular Snapchat filter for this one. Either way, the mood of the film pairs nicely with the buzzy bassline and chant-like feel of the track.
In fact, the whole scene feels like a Pieter Claesz painting – his works often depict still life images of food on tables that have recently been eaten – you’ll get my reference at the end of the vid.
