Y-3’s FW18 Chapter 02 Lookbook Brings Progressive Fashion to Nature
Signature sneaker silhouettes and all.

First making waves earlier this year at Paris Fashion Week, Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 Fall/Winter 2018 collection stormed the runway, doing well to carry forth the label’s boundary-pushing sartorial narrative. Chapter 02 of the seasonal range recently hit shop shelves, prompting us to further explore the new wave of streetwear staples. Tucked away in a secluded forest, models can be seen sporting avant-garde wares in the most natural of environments, exploring an unconventional balance between progressive technology and organic simplicity.
In typical Yamamoto fashion, pieces — for the most part — lean mightily on monochromatic finishes, although intricate floral patterns embellish a sampling of tops, while other such pieces flow free from the body with a good chunk of the range adopting voluminous silhouettes. Creative layering techniques, along with the house’s activewear attentiveness feature prominently throughout, as does signature Y-3 sneaker silhouettes, including the BYW BBall, Saikou, Bashyo and others. The featured looks are available for purchase now via Y-3’s flagship stores and online shop.
In case you missed it, THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL dropped BEAMS-exclusive Fall/Winter 2018 layers.
