Magic Leap's Augmented Reality Set Now Available for $2,295 USD
A hefty price tag for the latest in tech.
First teased late last year, Floridian tech company Magic Leap has begun shipping the One Creator Edition of its eagerly-awaited Augmented Reality gear. Six major American cities are able to purchase the equipment from Magic Leap, which comes in a pair of sizes, along with the Lightpack computing pack, handheld input device and more essential gear. This initial release includes several “core applications,” which include the 3D and spatial Helio web browser, a sandbox mode called Create and Tónandi, an app that’s part experience and part game, created in collaboration with Icelandic band Sigur Rós — check out a Tónandi breakdown below.
You can purchase the Magic Leap One Creator Edition on the Magic Leap site for $2,295 USD if you live in Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Seattle and the San Francisco Bay area.
Earlier this year, the Magic Leap team revealed plans to partner with the NBA.
