Lorde Gives Album Update & Responds to Impatient Fan
“Give up on me if you want to!”
It’s been three years since Lorde released her last album. Last night, the singer put up a photo of herself on Instagram. An impatient fan, seeing that the photo is of the artist going on vacation, writes in the comments: “Do you think we will ever get another album or should we just give up on you as an artist?” Lorde respondes to the comment, saying: “Give up on me if you want to! I’m an artist, I write a record when I have enough special stories to tell, and it’s all me, every melody every lyric, not some team who just start the machine up every eighteen months like clockwork.
