Lil Uzi Vert Reveals on 'Beats 1' He Has About 2,700 Unreleased Songs
“I might seem calm but under these glasses I’m raging.”
Lil Uzi Vert‘s Luv is Rage 2 is finally here and the Philly native is ready to let you into his mind. Uzi recently sat down with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 to discuss the project’s inspiration, why he treats his songs like the children he doesn’t have, and much more. The two casually talk about labels as Uzi expresses that he doesn’t enjoy working alongside the business world of the music industry. The self-proclaimed alien continues to touch upon how he lives in the moment, which explains his patience when it comes to the launch of Luv is Rage 2.
He drops a few gems on Zane Lowe from the count of his unreleased tracks being an outstanding 2,700 to him working on a rock project next. Lil Uzi Vert also pays homage to fellow artists such as Young Thug being his big brother while Playboi Carti is viewed as a younger one. Dubbing 1017 vs. The World alongside Gucci Mane as his favorite project to date, Uzi receives the “king of the kids” moniker from Lowe as the two continue to talk about what he plans to do moving forward.
