Dickies Celebrates the Work of Keith Haring in New FW18 Collection
The “Black Line.”
Part of Dickies’s Fall/Winter 2018 collection involved collaborative designs alongside the late, great Keith Haring. Dubbed the “Black Line,” the collection — consisting of hoodies, a bomber jacket, crewneck pullovers and a pair of wide-legged trousers — adheres to a simple monochromatic palette with an assortment of the artist’s signature graphics emblazoned throughout.
Artistic motifs reminiscent of Haring’s ‘80s-era chalk paintings subtly invade the jacket, hoodies, and pants, however, fully infiltrate one of the long-sleeve sweaters with a flurry of playful imagery swarming the piece in its entirety. Priced between ¥8,000 JPY and ¥25,000 JPY (approximately $73 USD to $227 USD), the Keith Haring x Dickies FW18 “Black Line” collection will make its debut on October 3 at participating retailers.
