Ever since Tesla became a household name, the world has been enamored by the electric vehicle company’s unique designs and the factories where they are constructed.
Following up on numerous explanations and brief walkthroughs, Elon Musk offers an in-depth look at one of his Tesla Gigafactories. Youtuber Marques Brownlee was invited by Musk to one of his California factories for a tour of the build process of a Model 3 sedan from start to finish. Starting off the video, the eccentric entrepreneur noted the importance of humans on the production line, emphasizing the lack of specific fine-tuning offered by robots. Musk also revealed that with the increase in production speed, each factory saw a doubling in employee numbers, forcing the establishment of transportation infrastructure. Marques and Musk then discussed the most popular Tesla colors, which surprisingly differs depending on the country.
