Capcom Reveals a New 'Devil May Cry 5' Gameplay Trailer
As well as a release date.
Following its reveal at E3 this year, Capcom has released a new trailer for Devil May Cry 5, showcasing gameplay and its confirmed release date of March 8, 2019. The visuals above demonstrates Nero’s “Devil Breakers” ability alongside the hack and slash aspects the franchise is known for.
Devil Breakers are mechanical arms, crafted by Nero’s ally Nico, that grant the demon slayer special powers. There are eight different Devil Breaker arms in total, including the Overture: an electrified arm that shocks enemies, and the Gerbera: the ability to generate and shoot heat in a shockwave. We also get another glimpse at the series’ usual protagonist Dante, looking older, more grizzled, and slaying demons with his detachable, chainsaw-like motorcycle.
Check out the trailer above and grab Devil May Cry 5 next year for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
