Apple Music to Exclusively Stream Dr. Dre's 'Compton' August 6
Dr. Dre’s first LP since 1999’s ‘2001’ will debut with an exclusive stream on Apple Music this Thursday.

Apple Music has announced that the highly anticipated Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre will make a debut on the streaming music service ahead of its August 7 release. The platform will celebrate the LP — Dre’s first since 1999’s 2001 — with an exclusive, uncensored stream from 6 to 9 p.m. PDT ahead of its official release the following day. Featuring 16 tracks in all, Compton — billed as Dre’s third and final studio album and one inspired by the upcoming N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton — is due out Friday, August 7 exclusively on iTunes.
