Animal Collective Release Their Audiovisual Album 'Tangerine Reef'

Animal Collective – a group made up of Avey Tare, Deakin and Geologist — release Tangerine Reef, their collaborative full-length audiovisual album with Coral Morphologic.
The LP was made to commemorate the 2018 International Year of the Reef. It’s “a visual tone poem consisting of time-lapse and slow pans across surreal aquascapes of naturally fluorescent coral and cameos by alien-like reef creatures.”
The pairing first teased the project with a trailer showing a time-lapse of brightly lit coral under AnCo’s atmospheric synths. The album is led by their single “Hair Cutter.”
