adidas Originals has been teasing its SPEZIAL collection for the last week and now it has unveiled a full look at the FW18 collection. The range is inspired by warehouse parties and what was known as the first acid winter, looking at the parallels between fashion and music. The footwear side of the line has been teased previously, with the Munchen Super SPZL, Punstock SPZL and a new silhouette called the Lowertree SPZL — which is based on the Marathon Competition.
In terms of clothing, graphic print t-shirts return, while the brand continue to revamp archival adidas pieces from the ‘80s. The Loton jacket is made in a modernised technical Climastorm fabric, while the Harpurhey tracksuit and Aigburth anorak both look back to the Acid Winter period. The first drop from adidas’s SPEZIAL collection will be releasing on September 7 at adidas’s web store and at selected retailers.
