Ray BLK, one of London’s rising R&B stars, stopped by the BBC 1Xtra studios for an exclusive session recently. The highlight of her performance was her live cover of DJ Khaled‘s Santana-sampling single “Wild Thoughts.” The cover initially started as a cover of the Santana original, before quickly shifting into the recently released Rihanna-featuring track. As if that wasn’t enough, though, BLK and her band manage to mix things up again and bring in a verse from Destiny’s Child‘s 2001 single “Independent Women.”

Check out the live cover above, and let us know what you think of Ray BLK’s rework in the comments.
