PLEASURES Explores "Heaven In Isolation" With Latest Capsule Release
Anchored by the theme self-reflection in relation to space travel.

Following a choice eyewear collaboration with Akila, PLEASURES is back again with a new graphic-focussed capsule collection exclusive to HBX.
Titled “Heaven In Isolation,” the special range of streetwear essentials is anchored by the theme of self-reflection in relation to space exploration. Co-founder and designer, Alex James, noted that the collection is about moments of self-discovery during the time that a person spends alone: “A person excels in life when they truly come to understand themselves and project that self-awareness onto others.” James also draws attention to the world beyond the planet we live on: ”In 2040, many Los Angeles citizens will be heading to Mars as part of the SpaceX program. We want to get people to start thinking about space travel and just our universe as a whole.”
Unveiled via a dreamy-toned editorial, a sequestered car park serves as the backdrop and frame for the dissonant undertones of the graphics found in the ”Heaven In Isolation” capsule. Comprised of jackets, hoodies, long- and short-sleeved T-shirts and side bags, evocative lo-fi edgy images of astronauts, distorted faces, barcodes, and planets bring the pieces together under the theme of self-reflection in relation to space exploration. Some notable pieces include the Space Freedom Coach Jacket, “Heaven In Isolation” T-shirt and Gum Ball Side Bag.
