Migos & DJ Durel Share "Hot Summer" Anthem
After their tour with Drake got pushed back.
The Migos have linked up with longtime collaborator DJ Durel for a new summertime anthem, aptly titled “Hot Summer.” The track finds Quavo, Takeoff and Offset delivering catchy melodies and bars over a minimalistic trap instrumental. Quavo had spoken about this track in an interview with Billboard.
“We’ve got a lot of top secret music coming. What I can give you is that we’re dropping a single first day of the tour. The first day of the tour will be a Migos single. Just to give the fans something new. We haven’t dropped that much new music but we’ve got feature shit everywhere. I think dropping a Migos record right before tour will give us something fresh and new to perform would be dope. It’s produced by DJ Durel and it’s crazy.”
Listen to the song above. In related news, Migos and Drake had to push back their ‘Aubrey & The Three Amigos’ tour. Originally scheduled to kick off on Thursday, July 26, the trek will now begin on August 10.
