LEGO Unveils James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Creator Expert Model Kit
A 1,290 piece replica of the secret agent’s iconic 1964 sports car.
Building on its sophisticated model kit line, LEGO recently teamed up with the James Bond franchise to create a Creator Expert set for Agent 007’s original Aston Martin DB5.
A 1,290 piece replica of the secret agent’s iconic 1964 sports car, the collectible toy puzzle comes complete with a wealth of authentic details and functional gadgetry. Inside the car, the interior holds a concealable tracking computer and a door compartment containing a telephone. Remaining true to the DB5, the exterior features straight-6 engine, drum-lacquered silver front and rear bumpers, molded silver-colored wire wheel rim inserts, and front and rear Aston Martin logos. Gadgetry comes in the form of a passenger ejection seat, rotating license plates, rear-window bullet shield, wheel-mounted tire slashers and hidden front-wing machine guns. Designed for a challenging yet rewarding building experience, the Aston Martin DB5 model kit is a must-have for both James Bond and LEGO fans.
Priced $150 USD, the James Bond Aston Martin DB5 Creator Expert Model will be available at select LEGO retailers come August 1.
