Kamaiyah Drops the Music Video for Her Female Empowerment Anthem "Build You Up"
Lil YaYa stops by Oakland’s historic movie palace in the first video off her upcoming project.
Oakland emcee Kamaiyah has dropped off the first official music video from her upcoming project Don’t Ever Get It Twisted. The track is titled “Build You Up” and features the 2017 XXL Freshman rhyming positive-laced lyrics over a Toni Toni Tone “Feel Good” sample. Within the visual, Lil YaYa stops by Oakland’s historic movie palace The Grand Lake Theater, and several other hot spots in her hometown, where she proceeds into a few dance routines with her friends. The video was shot exclusively in Oakland and directed by Damiën Sandoval. It premiered via VEVO, check it out above.
