BAPE Taps 'Jurassic World' for Expansive Collaboration
Commemorating one of the summer’s biggest films.
BAPE commemorates the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom with a capsule collection encompassing a host of referential graphics. Baby Milo, the brand’s signature camouflage and plenty of dinosaurs appear throughout the wide-ranging release.
Along with black, white and grey iterations of nearly every piece, a selection of goods also appear in blue or red, offering extra visual interest to a camouflage Jurassic World logo & an Ape Head design loaded with dinosaur shapes. Nods to the film appear throughout, with Baby Milo riding in a Gyrosphere and an electric fence sign altered to include an Ape Head. Elsewhere, more straightforward designs include a vectorized tyrannosaurus rex stretching across the front and back of a shirt, a T-rex crushing the “P” in “A BATHING APE” and cutesy imagery of Baby Milo playing with a range of adorable little dinosaurs. Rounding out the drop are embroidered caps and a camo logo-emblazoned tote bag.
Look for the collection to hit BAPE’s web shop and physical stores on July 14.
