Watch Juice WRLD Freestyle Over Nas' “The Message”
The same sample as “Lucid Dreams.”
Juice WRLD is not just a hitmaker but his freestyle game is on point as well. He made headlines after freestyling for an hour on the Tim Westwood Show and now, the Chicago crooner-rapper has linked up with Funkmaster Flex to drop another one on Hot 97. This time, Juice raps over Nas’ 1996 song “The Message,” the first song to sample Sting’s “Shape of My Heart.” His biggest hit to date, “Lucid Dreams,” also samples the Sting’s 1993 track.
Spitting off the top, Juice WRLD sends ruthless bars to his adversaries without slipping a single time. Based off these two performances alone, it’s safe to say that he is not only one of the strongest freestylers of the current hip-hop scene. Watch it above.
