Judge Thinks Frank Ocean Is Not Factual Enough in Case Against His Father
The judge has warned Frank and his father to end their “unnecessary litigation tactics.”

Back in February, Frank Ocean was sued by his dad Calvin Cooksey for $14.5 million USD, accusing the singer-songwriter of libel and defamation. This happened after Frank revealed that his father called a transgender waitress a “f****t” when Frank was a child, in response to the Orlando nightclub shooting incident. In May, Ocean responded to his dad’s lawsuits, saying that his statements are true and denying the validity of his father’s claims.
However, things haven’t been smooth for both Ocean and his father in this legal battle. According to The Jasmine Brand, a judge pointed out that Frank’s defence does not contain enough factual information. The singer was warned that he would face sanctions from the court if he kept using the “same arguments in order to confuse his father or hide the truth of the matter.” The judge says that both Ocean and his dad have both used “unnecessary litigation tactics” during the case and wants both parties to cease their behavior.
