Original Story:
A lot has been going on for Chance the Rapper lately. Young Thug recently shared a Chance The Rapper feature that will be part of the Atlanta rapper’s Slime Language project. Chance also said that he wants popular video game Fortnite to pay rappers for using dances for emotes. Now, according to the Chicago Tribune, Chance the Rapper will drop his upcoming album this week. The studio LP is a follow-up to 2016’s Coloring Book. The release will go along with the Chicago rapper’s headlining appearance at the Special Olympics anniversary concert, which will happen at Chicago’s Northerly Island on July 21st.
“I got that feeling when people do something that has a new feel to it,” Chance tells the Chicago Tribune. “I’m excited for everybody to get that. It’s going to come out just in time for the Special Olympics.” The project will be different from the collaboration record that he’s currently working on with Kanye West. “We’ve just started making it but I don’t want to manipulate the situation and impose any time frame, because that can hinder you,” Chano says.
Stay tuned for more news on this. In other news, Childish Gambino recently released an alternate version of Awaken, My Love! on vinyl.
