A Tribe Called Quest to Make Exclusive In-Store Appearance at LA's 424
It’s going down tomorrow.
Late last month, 424 announced a new pop-up shop event for Paris Fashion Week. Refocusing on the retailer and brand’s Stateside efforts, the Los Angeles institution has revealed plans to bring in iconic NYC hip-hop act A Tribe Called Quest for a very special in-store exhibit. Breaking the news via social media, 424 took to Instagram to announce that the pioneering rap group will be at 424 on Fairfax tomorrow from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. PST, with “exclusive merchandise” set to appear on the store’s shelves for tomorrow evening. No word on what else will go down, but if customers are lucky, they might get a brief performance or more.
On the other side of the hip-hop spectrum, 424 has also worked with Wiz Khalifa recently for a new joint collection alongside Pleasures. Back in March, ATCQ unveiled a Hiro Murai-directed video for “Dis Generation.”
