As Kiminori Morishita’s 08SIRCUS heads into its 9th year, the label continues to toy with suiting. The label’s fabric experimentation allows it to undercut typically stiff menswear cliches, however, with wrinkled cottons and puckered linens creating diverse textures in otherwise conventional items. Earth tones and deep navy hues complement the line’s unstructured items, with effortless suiting and refined hoodies making for loungy takes on summer staples. Button-up shirts offer flat hems and trim collars, making ideal base layers for the collection’s lightweight coats and workwear-influenced jackets. Elevated bomber jackets and knit shirts play well with the texture-rich cropped trousers, with patterned shorts and shirts offering subtle contrast to the mostly-undecorated items.

Expect the collection to launch next year. Elsewhere in Japan, Champion joined with BEAMS for a mismatched sweatsuit.
