Virgil Abloh on A$AP Bari, Theophilus London & Ian Connor Brawl: "It's Basically Watching a Bunch of Brothers Fight"
“They’re all brothers, so it’s basically watching a bunch of brothers fight…It was totally fine.”

Yesterday, conversations on social media and headlines across the blogosphere were dominated by a Paris Fashion Week brawl that involved A$AP Bari, Ian Connor and Theophilus London. Now, one of the people who was there in-person yesterday and who is close to all individuals involved is speaking up. In a new interview with WWD, Virgil Abloh had this to say regarding the altercation:
“They’re all brothers, so it’s basically watching a bunch of brothers fight…It was totally fine. I looked at it as, like, a casualty — I call it me being a camp counselor. I probably knew it was going to happen. It’s just all the energy, but it’s like them being them. But I believe you can’t just like kids when it’s good. I’m not an educator or anything like that. And it’s not about that. It’s just about leading by example.”
Virgil Abloh is the first person involved with the fight to speak up in an official, proper interview setting, but chances are we’ll receive more statements in the coming days.
