Vans is fusing two of its most popular patterns, the checkerboard and the flames motif, for a new pack that will encompass the Old Skool, Slip-On, Authentic and Sk8-Hi models. Each of the classic silhouettes in this “Checkerboard Flames” pack will, as the name implies, feature a hybrid of both the iconic black-and-white pattern overlaid with the flames design, offered in various colors.

The Authentic has a black and white palette, the Sk8-Hi has a white flames overlay, the Old Skool has a black and white base with dark blue flames, and the Slip-On has the checkerboard print at the toe with red flames covering the rest of the silhouette. All of the models maintain the same signature blueprints, such as canvas uppers, vulcanized soles, metal eyelets and rubber waffle outsoles.

The Vans “Checkerboard Flames” pack is available now with a price range of $55 to $65 USD at select retailers such as PacSun. Let us know if you’re a fan of this hybrid print and for more familiar looking colorways, check out the Coutié x Vans “Yin Yang” Sk8-Hi collection.
