Prada’s SS19 Show Was Entirely Filled with Inflatable Stools

Prada recently unveiled its vivid Spring/Summer 2019 collection at its Fogazzaro space in Milan, Italy. The bold range was equally as eye-catching as the set design for the collection.
The fashion house once again joined forces with OMA‘s research and design studio AMO to develop an otherworldly presentation comprised of an endless amount of inflatable stools initially inspired by Danish designer Verner Panton’s 1960s design, as per designboom. Each cushioned seat is made of transparent plastic, embellished with Verpan x Prada branding, and placed atop industrial sheets which are laid across space. Lastly, boxed gridlines were painted on the floor space to note seating and runway sections.
