Nike Officially Introduces Kevin Durant's 11th Signature Sneaker
KD’s newest comfort-first sneaker.
Following back-to-back NBA Championships and NBA Finals MVP awards, Kevin Durant is ready for a new sneaker to help him achieve a potential three-peat. Today, Nike has officially shared looks and information on the KD11 signature sneaker. Designer Leo Chang links back up with KD to fulfill his need for a comfort-first sneaker with a broken-in feel. As a result, the Swoosh’s React foam is employed alongside Zoom cushioning with the foam resting under the model’s full-length Zoom Air unit as both are housed within a rubber cup sole.
Flyknit also makes its way back into the fold, marking the third consecutive time the technology has been used within Durant’s signature line. That broken-in feel is provided thanks to inspiration from the Air Sock Racer, which also influenced its ankle collar.
The Nike KD11 will retail for $150 with its inaugural black/white “Still KD” colorway releasing on June 18. The model’s blue “Paranoid” iteration will arrive on June 25.
