JAY-Z Launches New Venture Fund
Introducing Marcy Venture Partners.

JAY-Z has teamed up with his close business partner and Roc Nation president Jay Brown and Walden Venture Capital’s Larry Marcus for a new venture fund.
Known as Marcy Venture Partners, the firm will be led by Marcus, who received recognition for his early support of Netflix and Pandora. JAY-Z’s latest major investment effort comes to us following recent news involving his work with the “Promise” app, stock trading app Robinhood and the venture capital fund Arrive. In the past, the NYC icon has also invested in Uber, JetSmarter and Julep.
Back in March of 2017, we traced JAY-Z’s journey through the investment world with an expansive writeup on his history of non-music endeavors.
On the musical front, JAY’s newly-released joint album with Beyonce just debuted at no. 2 on the Billboard 200.
