Hender Scheme Opens Second Tokyo Store "Sukima Kappabashi" With Exclusive Items
The “effect_lab” option will give customers a chance to personalize.

After opening its very first retail location, the “Sukima Shop” in Ebisu, Hender Scheme is now gearing up to open its second store in Tokyo. Dubbed “Sukima Kappabashi,” the upcoming flagship brings the Japanese label’s artisanal offerings to the Tokyo Asakusa heritage district.
The “Sukima Kappabashi” retail experience is centered around an industrial stamping machine acquired from a traditional leather craftsman. With the stamping machine, the location launches Hender Scheme’s new “effect_lab” which offers customers the option to customize goods with an array of letters, characters, symbols, and designs. Additionally, ”Sukima Kappabashi” store will feature exclusive items like the cow suede and leather caterpillar slides, pig leather shoulder bag and leather cover ruled notebook.
The exclusive items will be available only at Hender Scheme’s second Tokyo store “Sukima Kappabashi” come opening day June 8.
