EA Sports Reveals New 'FIFA 19' Trailer
Ronaldo returns as the game’s cover star.
EA Sports finally divulged more information about FIFA 19 during EA Play, including the full video game trailer and cover. To no surprise, forward Cristiano Ronaldo will return as the game’s cover star, along with Brazilian striker Neymar Jr. on the Champions and Ultimate editions. The UEFA Champions League – which was one of the most requested features by players — will be integrated into the upcoming game, along with the Europa League and Super Cup. Additional gameplay features include a new Active Touch system, 50/50 Battles and Dynamic Tactics system, and Alex Hunter returning in the final chapter for The Journey: Champions.
Watch the full trailer above, which includes a remixed version of the UEFA Champions League anthem, composed by Hans Zimmer and featuring Vince Staples. FIFA 19 will be released Sept. 28 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
