James Van Der Beek has quickly deteriorated his image of being the mawkishly sentimental guy in Dawson’s Creek. The ’90s heartthrob not only championed his crying meme, but surprisingly charmed viewers by playing an amiable goof in the sitcom Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23. Now, the actor is making people crack up by stepping in the shoes of one EDM pundit. To promote the upcoming Mad Decent Block Party tour, Van Der Beek plays the role of the Jack Ü producer in a parody video called “Day In the Life of Diplo.” From booty-shaking employees at his office to a spontaneous ninja attack, the two-minute clip is filled with hilarious moments.
